Early in 1985 Battlefield Band, Alison Kinnaird and Robin Morton were asked to prepare and record music for a television series about the work of the National Trust for Scotland (who own and protect a wide range of the natural and man-made heritage of Scotland).
FOLK ROOTS - ...demonstrates in equal measure the rich heritage of Scotland and the composing skills of those involved. As always with Temple Records the excellent music is backed by superb production.
